The Kansas City Public Library Main Branch at 14 West 10th Street runs free reading rooms and rooftop garden access through Sunday evening. Staff there recorded 1.2 million visits in 2025, with weekend numbers typically 30 percent higher than weekdays. No registration is required for basic entry or use of the outdoor terrace.
